If you are like many gardeners, you always intend to sharpen your shovels, pruners and loppers, store your sprays correctly, and winterize your lawnmower, but it just doesn't get done.

Bring your hand tools to this hands-on workshop on maintaining your gardening tools and getting your garden supplies ready for winter. Learn everything you need to know to get ready for winter so you'll be ahead next year. You'll return home with your tools ready for use in the spring! Come dull and leave sharp!

Several stations will be offered so you can focus on what you'd like to learn most.

Offerings Include:

⢠Small engine care [for example, lawn mowers]

⢠Chemical storage for winter

⢠Sharpening hand tools, shovels and hoes

⢠General tips for tools [varieties of tool carriers, tips for storage]

⢠Professional pruner and lopper sharpening

⢠Rubber coat tool handles with a special product to give them grip and so you can brighten the color so you can find them in the garden

⢠Chainsaw safety in the morning
