I have only 3!
That's the most I have of any given hosta...the only other one I have that many of is Gold Standard.

Grrrrrr..... bad question. June is my allll time favorite and I HAD three planted right by my fountain, at my patio, in a PRIME spot. Well along comes the VOLES!!! They managed to eat away at the roots of two of them and now I have one nice plant and two pityful looking ones. I gotta say though, I luuuuuuv it sooooo much!!! Sorry for the rant but I still get so upset when I think about the voles. Judy

I have four and they are the last hosta standing. Not a recent pic but here's a Spring pic of two of them. They're a nice fit with conifers. In this case Tsuga canadensis 'Dawson'

I only have duplicates of a handful of hostas, mostly because I forgot I had already bought one when I saw a second one :-)

I've never forgotten that I bought June. I guess that's why no duplicate!

Three. Two of those in a large patio pot on the porch, still standing inspite of frosts, see another posting.

Two. And they are different. One is very dark, one is very light. For comparison, I planted them in the same place.

Only two! The first June I bought in 2000 was beautiful and to my horror one spring it came up with only 3 very unhealthy looking eyes.

I thought it was going to die out completely so I got another one in 2007 to replace it. Thankfully the declining June has come back and now I have two lovely Junes again.

Two. I divided my one in deep shade several years ago and planted the division in morning sun. They are so different now -- the first a dark blue/blue green, the next gold and green -- that I point them out to hosta newbies.

The dark version was impeccable until our hard frost this week. Nance

What a great idea Nancy. I have both my Junes in the same bed but not near each other. I think the contrast in color would be interesting. I will divide mine in the spring and replant them to see if I can get the color change that comes with more sun.

I only have one, but after reading all your posts, I think I must have at least one more! I think I must check at the nursery, and see what the Junes look like, if there are any left.

I have two. When I moved my Hostas moved also.. When I was digging them up my one split. So I planted them in different spots of the garden.

I love June, too. I have five now. I bought my first as a tribute of sorts to my favorite aunt. Just like her, the hosta is a grand lady!!

Now I have four. The original one, and three in pots that I found at the local nursery yesterday for 75% off. And thanks to having dug a new bed this week, I have a good place to put them but will overwinter them in a corner of the greenhouse until spring. They should make a wonderful grouping at the front of my new shrub border!

Just one pathetic little plant. I've had it for years,and,despite moving it last year,it still is just one eye,but I'm not going to move it again. Phil

I have a few June and I think that this is the most resistant of all the hostas in my garden.

I have two, one of which I rescued from nematodes several years ago with hot water. No sign of recurrence.

I wouldn't mind having some others as I'm a big fan of having a bunch of great hostas rather than a few great hostas and a bunch of half-decent hostas.

And June does look good late in the season. But the best for me this year was Orange Marmalade, which had a couple of leaves that looked like they just unfurled in the last couple of weeks. Probably look that way today even after 8 inches of snow.

(Just went outside and looked, and Orange Marmalade still has a perfect leaf.)

Thinking about 10, but then again, there are over 1500 hostas in our garden, so we don't think we're over doing it, teehee!

This summer I dug up three big ones and made 20 little ones for gifts for friends and garden visitors next year. I LOVE dividing and multiplying hosta.

None yet! I'm just starting out and only have 2 hostas I bought locally this year. I have Abiqua Drinking Gourd and Fragrant Bouquet. Have not seen June locally. The more photos I see, the more I want one. Thinking hard about mail order. But if I'm paying shipping, I can't just buy one plant...
