Large evergreen for a large container

There is a large 36" pot located in a corner at the entrance of a modern State of Oklahoma office building that I have to plant. The entrance faces south. Since the pot is tucked in a corner the building shadows the pot at times. It receives direct sunlight from about noon to 4:00 pm. The corner creates a microclimate of wind protection and radiant heat from the building. The pot is glazed ceramic standing 3 ft. tall and 36" in diameter. The requirement was that the plant had to be an evergreen and large in size. (The last one planted was stolen I was told.) Do any of you fellow GardenWebbers have any suggestions? .....7'-8' Weeping Atlas Cedar...Horstmann Atlas Cedar....Pendula Alaska Cedar...Blue Ice Arizona Cypress....Deodara Cedars...???? YOUR INPUT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED :)
