We're Havin a Good Fall Here

Lots of rain the last month. Almost made up for the hot, dry summer. I did some bed enlargement and transplanting last week. Most of the hosta look pretty good for mid October:

Although the small Elegans in the foreground is burnt, Olive Bailey Langdon and Krossa Regal are in mid-summer form.

Frances Williams has held up well. The newly-planted Dream Weaver to her right should be a better companion next spring.

Captain Kirk is probably my strongest October hosta. Bressingham Blue is showing some signs of the season. Paradise Expectations on the left has held up well too.

The widened bed makes a path to our recent entryway addition.
