Deer resistant perennials for dry(ish) open shade

Flowering is not a mandatory, clean looking/interesting looking foliage is more than OK.

No heights restrictions.

This is the small bed by the entrance to the property which never got supplementary water, but in a winter/spring it could be overly wet because of piles of plowed snow.

So far only lily of the valley and carex 'Ice dance' survived there. Tried daffs few times, they are on a constant decline there. Dicentra eximia also is not very happy. Astilbes, acontiums?, forget about...they will be dry by July.

What else?

Deer resistant a MUST.
