new raspberries.. should I be seeing signs of life yet?

I have planted raspberries for the first time this spring.. about a month ago.

They are a bareroot variety from a reputable local supplier, prompltly planted in a well-drained and composted medium.

I am concerned because I have seen absolutely no signs of life yet from the "sticks".. while the two grape varieties planted at the same time (from the same grower) are covered in fat buds..

While it's true we've had quite a few days of cool and wet weather in a row now, with limited sun breaks, should I be concerned that my raspberries are still just "sticks", with no root or crown growth appearing yet above ground?

Thanks,
