That's what Summer Breeze looks like with a lot of sun. Is that one you've picked up?

This is my mystery hosta, which eveyone has agreed is Summer Breeze. This is it's first year with me.

Maybe Wide Brim?

I've several Wide Brim. None looks like that when they are young, at least here. (I bought another one after trashing the one with nematodes.) As they get older their look changes, apparently. I've not had a mature one, but, it doesn't look like a young one.

To me this looks a lot like Royal Flush.

Here's the problem with IDing something like this. We only have one leaf photo. We don't know the growing conditions. We don't know the size of the clump. We don't know the clump shape. We can't see any other leaves which might be different, and we have no flower information. It could be Royal Flush, or Goodness Gracious, or Wide Brim but I think Chris is right and it's Summer Breeze late in the summer grown in the sun.

Although now I am paranoid bc of my 'Fragrant Bouquet' mixup that my Summer Breeze isn't Summer Breeze, since it looks different from the ones above! These were not from the Store Whose Name is No Longer in My Hosta Vocabulary.

Hey, my summer breeze looks nothing like weekendweeder's. It is in morning sun and has remained yellow and green. I'll get a current photo.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I do remember (somewhere in my memory) that Summer Breeze sounds familiar. Just an FYI, all the leaves look like this, and it's only one eye, so not alot of leaves... maybe 5-6... and it's been sitting in the sun for the past couple of months. I really think that's what it is... I have Summer Music, which I love, and remember ordering somthing else that was "Summer -----" something?

BUT, what I refer to as Wide Brim doesn't look like weekendweeders Wide Brim!! Darn... now I'm thinking I'm wrong on that one. Mine is more puckery... maybe just older, but my margin isn't that wide... I've attached my so-called "Wide Brim"

Sheesh. Well, I am hoping that my SB and WB look different from everyone else's because they are still young (first years in my garden). Also, my Summer Breeze did not start out so creamy. This spring it was like this:

They came from a nursery where I make sure I only get tagged plants (some of their tags fall off or go missing). (Sorry if I am improperly hijacking this thread.)

Looking at this library pic, I'm sure that's what mine is...

Well, if you want to see another brand new Summer Breeze, what it looks like fresh from another nursery, here is mine which arrived late in July.

Here's yet another new this summer 'Summer Breeze', picture is two weeks ago. Looks quite different than moccasin's.
