How to Choose?

So I've been obsessing for over a week for what to buy on sale from NH Hostas. Here's my current list:

Cutting Edge

Emerald Ruff Cut

Fair Maiden

First Mate

Hoosier Harmony (fragrant)

Hosta rectifoloa 'Fujibotan'

Jewel of the Nile

Lakeside Downsized

Lakeside Dragonfly

Lakeside Shore Master

Manhattan

Olive Branch

Pineapple Upsidedown Cake

Regal Splendor

Spring Fling

Summer Music

St Paul

Toy Soldier

Veronica Lake

Zippity Do Dah

I think its too many, so I'm looking for any negatives. I'm a pretty new hostas grower, so I don't want anything that is likely to disappear on me. We have pretty low light - some morning sun, dappled. The hostas I have now seem very happy.

I was also wondering how you all choose - do you find a spot and then come up with a hosta to go into it? Or do you see a hosta and fall in love and then try to find a place to put it? I vaccillate between the two - and then keep changing my list! I also like a good bargain, but am afraid I'll use up all my space and then find more hostas that I can't live without. And then there's the "I should buy a limited amount each year" - and I've already bought more than my share this year- versus "but the sooner they get in the ground the better they'll be."

Help!
