I thought Kosteletzkaya was perennial.

Never can spell it right without looking it up. Had a big pot of these blooming last Summer. Nothing this year. I waited because I know mallow types can be very very late to emerge. Fortunately, I had saved seed and planted it just last week. They are already sprouting, but I thought I had a perennial plant. Would appreciate any input. Maybe it was too stressful to have it in a pot exposed to the Winter.

Also must say that the white one shipped from down South had a small sprout when it arrived into our cold Spring here and that died and now there is nothing. I will have to order one again next Spring and give it much more TLC. Then It will really be important to me to isolate the plant and save the seed after my experience with the wild local pink plants.
