Just when I thought I was done for the year!

I live in north Texas, so I am not sure when exactly the butterflies will be done laying eggs. Our weather is very mild in the fall 70's and 80's with a few cooler days mixed in.

Anyway, I have four chrysalis and two cats

left eating, and I thought my "accidental foray" into butterfly raising was about over for the year, when lo and behold I saw a Mama GST today who spent three hours on my orange tree and went I just went out to count there are 30 eggs on it! :-)

Does anyone have experience in a climate like mine where it never gets terribly cold until around January? Do you think these guys will eclose this year or hang on until spring?

Thanks!
