Hi, Decided to post looking for some of my favorites that I would love to try or have more of next year! ~Veronicas (I have 2 bluish/violet ones and tried to save seeds as best I can but I don't know if I actually HAVE seeds lol but I would love more!) ~Native Blue Lupine (def got from somebody on here and only can find one seedling that survived on my hills so I wanna try a different location) LOVE the Color! ~Royal Wedding Poppies!! I NEED a white one! lol ~Pink Swirl/Blush Hibiscus (its the one that is white with pink fading into it like blush..I have several seedlings of reds/pinks but I really want this one!) If you come outside onto my front porch we will lay in the Swingbed and take our Folgers I.V. I put a light cover over me if the cool winds are blowing from OK. Yes Southerners do SPRAWL out on their front porches, LOL and snorting!!!!. I use a mosquito net in the summer. This swing holds a regular twin sized mattress. Hubs did not build it. It holds 2 adults, 2 dogs and whole bunch of grandbabies that I dont have yet. I took the doggies to the pond in our neighborhood. Windy and high 60's but supposed to chill down this week some. My hair ended up wrapped around my face and my lips pruned up. Check out the pier. That is where the wise-as_ kids who took my bike for a spin one night dumped it. You should have seen me jump in my car in my pajamas going to hunt them down and retreive my bike. (See why Hubs wont let me have a gun????) I was running to the pier, flannel and terry cloth flying in the wind. There was plenty of unintelligible fussing and stomping around in my furry house shoes. They had removed the front basket that my poodle dog rides in (I'm guessing they were fishing and needed a place to put their fish.). Yes, I am one of those ladies who ride around with a dog in the front and a dog in the back. Now you know why they took the basket and left the "Maw Maw" bike. Watched the Sun sparkle on the water. Went down to the fishing lake. Came back to the empty nest to find an ORB on my roof. Help!!!!! Kudzu. What kind is that???? Enjoyed adopted poodle, Bailey Jo hiding behind the pansys!! Shhhh-hhh-hhh, he doesn't know he is adopted. He thinks he came from planet VISA like his little brother did. I hope you enjoyed our little walk. In August it will be too hot 'for me' to do this at this time of day. You might save some snow in your freezer to send to me then. Thinking about my favorite snow bears!!!!!! Susie/DFW TEXAS

I bought from Garden Harvest Supply this spring and was so very pleased with all the plants I purchased, as well as how they were packaged for shipping. Every plant I bought is growing well and is healthy. Many of the perennials arrived blooming and some are still blooming. They are having a 20% off sale on perennials according to the website: http://www.gardenharvestsupply.com/ProductCart/pc/-c112.htm It looks like some of the poppies are still available but not the Lupines. Why not try Winter Sowing some lupines? I grew some dwarf lupines from seed planted in the spring one year and several years later I still have new volunteers that came up from seed from the originals, which only last a year or two here. I bought a Gallery Lupine this spring at a local nursery but it has not bloomed as yet. I may have to wait until next year for it, but you never know. I have had them bloom in the fall when I didn't expect them to flower. Good Luck, Linda

I got passion flower to germinate for me last year. It is one of those seeds that need to have the coating of whatever it is that stops them from germinating, broken so they will. I heard that they could be soaked in something acidic and that should do it. I soaked mine in orange juice for a couple of days and then took them out. they seemed to be kind of slimy like they had a gel coating. I just rubbed that off with my fingers (or maybe a tissue, ...I can't really remember) and then planted them. I got two really healthy plants. I left one outside planted in the garden to see what would happen and the other is inside on in my sunroom. BTW I didn't WS them, I started them inside, so I don't know if they would WS. gg
