Weed Killer Spray Drift on New Peony Plants!
Comments (4)I've had the same thing happen with my peony bush but actually a service came to the townhouses where I Iive with a machine and sprinkled some stuff around. I had no idea what it was and a week later talking to a friend about it he said it was weed killer. He said the leaves on my bush are curled.. He says it should be ok. Some weed killers would have no effect on subsequent planting, and some have only a short wait time before planting. Comments (5)you will need to thoroughly saturate a vast majority of the tree.. to kill it ... and i cant tell based on your words ... how much you really sprayed .. it would also help to know what you used ... and how big the tree is ... when i spray for weeds in the garden beds ... i use extremely low pressure.. which creates drops.. which fall to the ground ... even in some amount of wind ... thats your exploded and sprayed wildly.. suggests to me ... that you where using way too much pressure ... this stuff isnt french perfume.. you dont need to atomize it ... take the time to play around with your sprayer ... filled with water .. and learn how to adjust pressure.. and the nozzle ... to create the drops i am suggesting ... its worth the time ... all that said.. all you can do.. by now.. is wait and see what happens ... ken...See MoreI sprayed by fence with weed and grass killer. Comments (1)Per the webpage for Spectracide, Use Tips; you must wait 3 to 4 weeks before reseeding. https://www.spectracide.com/products/weed-and-grass-killers/lawn-weed-killers/spectracide-weed-stop-for-lawns-concentrate-ready-to-spray.aspx Not check in the chemical conditions for break down, I would suspect that would depend on what happened during those 3 to 4 weeks, a lot of rain, high temperatures, Humidity, etc. Because of this it may be advisable to wait a little longer....See Moreirinap_shaw_ca
