I noticed it for a while now that the search function in the different forums on GW doesn't work. What's going on?

It works for me, although the results are further down on the page than before so I have to scroll down to see them.

If you still have a problem I'd report it to the technical team: http://letters.gardenweb.com/letters/mailwebm.html

I've sent off emails to Letters & Comments at the very bottom of the page as I've had problems logging in but kept getting error messages. Try posting your concern in the suggestions & comments area. Apparently a server crashed. An iVillage rep states they are working on the problem, but it will be a few days. Other problems seen is the site not recognizing you and having to sign in over and over or not being able to get on the site at all. Hopefully, it will be sooner than later, Suz Here is a link that might be useful: WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON????

Yeah it has been down about 48 hours AFAIK - but given the holiday weekend likely won't see any fix until next week. Meanwhile you can just use Google by adding 'garden web' to whatever search term you are using. ie: 'best tomato fertilizer garden web' Dave

When that happens, goto google.com and type in: site:gardenweb.com brandywine It gives much better results anyway than this built in search engine. I searched brandywine and got over 2,000 hits.
