Thanks Lainey for responding, thought it might get lost in the other pics. Similar look, a bit of blue in one I snapped. I count about 14 vein pairs in my pic vs 9-10 for Lunar Night. Owners said wish they knew what it was, and to let 'em know if I figure it out. Three hosta in particular at this garden I made note of and this was first on my list - figures. Thanks again. Paul

Duhhh! Paul,and what do you think horse manure is? I don't fertilize my hostas at all,and they look pretty good. They probably have soaker hoses all under there,also. Just horse manure couldn't possibly account for all that growth,already. My hostas come up in March,and April,and they still don't grow that fast. Whatever it is,they sure have the right combination! Thanks for all the pics,anyway! Now I'm going out and burn all my hostas. Lol! phil

Teresa, What a fabulous time we had in your fair state! It was wonderful of you to give up Sunday to spend with Rita and me and show us your garden and introduce us to the two nursery/hosta/display gardens. Thanks for sharing your plants with us. Your knowledge of hostas and their origins made me realize how little I really know about my favorite plant! I'm just happy to remember what little I do about them!!!!!
