As Jim said, the green up the center is an example of the instability of hosta in general. Part of the fun of hosta. Likely next year if will not reappear. Regarding ID a pic of the whole plant would help. It also allows us to see the habit/form of the hosta. Include something for size reference in the photo - ruler/yard stick, hat, dollar bill, etc ... If you know where and when purchased it may help with ID. i.e a big box recent purchase vs 10yrs ago from a nursery vs from Aunt Betty's garden and she has been growing it for 20yrs. Paul

Maow, you should be able to load one photo per post using the Chrome browser with no issues. Perhaps GW was having an issue earlier? You can also load the pics directly from your phone or iPad directly into a post using the same functionality as you would with a computer. Simply browse for the picture you want to post. An app I use on my iPhone and iPad called PhotoGrid would allow you to add text directly to a photo very easily. You can adjust the font, size and color of the text quite easily within the app. You can also add borders to your photos and do a lot of other editing, including creating collages with multiple pictures.
