2 different colors same garden

Hello, I planted two endless summers last summer. They are about 15 feet apart at opposite ends of my small garden. One is pale blue and the other is pink. I find this amazing. Does anybody else have this going on?

Nevermind the same garden, my Nikko Blues not only have two colors on one plant, they have two colors on the same flower, half pink, half blue!

It simply means that the soil for the blue one is more acidic than the pink one. I have a pair which are only 3 ft apart and different colors.

Bob, I have that on one plant too. The lower/earlier flower is pink/purple abut the upper flowers are blue. I think that is because my lower/earlier flower started before I added aluminum sulfate which blued the upper flowers later. I think?

Without knowing the species you have, it's impossible to say for certain. Caveat aside, "sports" are not uncommon among certain passiflora types. Passiflora caerulea is most famous for this, producing blue and white flowers normally, but occasionally growing vines that have all-white flowers. Cultivation and propagation of these white cuttings has led to the popular "Constance Eliott" white-flowered plant. The native incarnata also has a reputation for extreme flower variability. Flowers can look very different from year to year, and the same plant can have different colored flowers blooming simultaneously. "Alba" is a white form of incarnata similar to "Constance Eliott." Personal opinion. If you look at the kitchens deco posted i think they look nice enough but would both have been even better with the same counters, i dont think the different perimeters add anything (except some visual chaos) in either case. Agree. One other thought. If I hadn't found my busy and exciting quartzite, i would have picked a very quiet stone or a plain quartz, paper stone, etc and then done an interesting backsplash with color.

I see no reason to use transitions just the fact they are a different room and their use is different is all you need to choose a different wall color. That tile color will always drive the wall color in each space so maybe just a different shade insted of a completely new color.

cultivar mean CULTI-vated VAR-ietal ... according to me anyway.. lol ... its the name in the quotes ... if the name is based on the color ... then that is that ... the species.. may have a base color range .. the first two usually latin ... lol ... names ... and it is associated with a specific color range ... as its part of the definition of the species ... imo.. flower color cant vary within the species ... so if you have a base plant that has purple flowers ... then the pink.. yellow.. bright orange variations .... whatever flower color.. is the variety.. or the varietal ... i know what i am trying to say .. but im sure im going to get roasted for trying to dumb it down .. and frankly.. barely knowing what i am talking about.. rotflmbo ... lets see who is mean about it ... bottom line.. we have to define the terms.. before we start talking in generalities ... https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffcm&q=CULtivated+VARietal&ia=web ken

I haven't added anything to the soil on either end of the garden, so I guess for one reason or another, they just have different PHs. I like it!

This Penny Mac is in a ground for the 3rd season.
Started pure pink and gradualy transitioning.
Remaining neutral soil from the original pot keep it part-pink, but native acidic clay finally taking over
