Thanks to both of you for the conclusive info, which actually confirms the way I looked at it. I also looked up my formula for Mg and S substraction from MgSO4.7H2O, which simply takes 9.9 Mg vs. 13 % of S. And these are actual PPM. This problem was solved. But because MgSO4*7H2O amazingly delivers exactly the amount of Mg and S needed... it simply made me suspicious and it came to my mind, that we deal with a conventional compromise here. I have a tomato nutrient recipe here from the University of Florida, where the S-content vs. P is even higher from the state of so called "last cluster". And I see this as a confirmation too: N-153 PPM P - 50 PPM K-206 PPM Mg-48 PPM S-66 PPM Ca-174 PPM PS:Part of the problem was a little discussion with a fresh chemistrist, who probably just graduated. When I told him about the S and Mg content in a nutrient, he wouldn't agree. Among other kinda hilarious things, he pretended that it was proven by ash analyses, that Mg uptake was much higher than S anyway. He also claimed that most of the sulfate remained in the solution then. Anyway, people who are smart with chemistry, but have no practical experience with nutrients and actual components, can truly be a real p.i.t.a. He also pretended that there couldn't be any Mg in a nutrient solution, because Mg0 wasn't water soluble. As I told him that MgSO4.7H2O is generally used for the purpose, he wouldn't believe taht either. Later he pretended that there could be release of sulfuric acid then. Here he didn't realise that such acid couldn't do any harm to roots or plants, as it is diluted as soon as it forms. Well, it took me some time time too to understand the principles of nutrient manufacturing ;-) PS2: in the meantime I found other info about uptake of Sulfur and it says that S-uptake varies extremely with different plant varieties.

Wow wish I could help but all this is far beyond the standard grow-in-ground tomatoes that most here do. Have you checked out the Hydroponics forum here for help? You might also want to check out the Growing Under Lights forum too for input on your lighting question. Question 1 - basically white and yellow gives you green growth. Red and blue are needed for blooming if there is no sun exposure. But the Growing Under Light forum can give you better details on that than I can as my indoor plants are greenhouse sun grown. Question 2 - a fan for breeze, flicking/vibrating the blooms with your fingers I can answer question 3 in part. From fruit set to harvest is approximately 6 weeks +/- a week depending on variety and growing conditions. But from seed to fruit set has far too many variables to predict with any accuracy. Question 6 - no it won't get thicker. Thin stems (called 'leggy') are from too little light primarily. Sorry I can't be of more help but your situation is quite unusual. Dave

We had the same probelm in our family, and at first no one saw any problem with two grandkids having the same name--one was a boy named James, called Jamie, and the other was a girl named Jamey. But now I would advise against it. The kids ended up being called "Big Jamie" and "Little Jamey" due to their difference in age and height and "Little Jamey" and her parents did not like her title. In fact it caused a lot of rifts in the family. Not to mention the confusion it always caused. Names seen so important when you're naming a baby, but actually there are so many nice names to choose from it's not a big deal. In fact we "re-named" one of our children when he was 3 months old, because we decided we didn't like the name we'd picked after all! If you can, suggest they leave the name Max for a dog (it is in fact the most popular name for a dog) and choose different names.

Something else to consider: Hot stones massage is popular right now, but in a year or two it will be something else. Don't tie your name too closely to a fad! For web searches, it's easy to tag phrases onto your site so that it comes up. This year it can be "hot rocks massage" and next year it can be "basil tea soak" or whatever. Make the name of the spa something that makes people feel good about themselves. Is there something about the location that would make a good name? Green Falls Day Spa? Fern Path Massage? Wild Bloom Experience?
