What fertilizer are you using? From what I can tell it looks like a calcium deficiency. Have you ever heard of a product called cal-mag? It is a calcium, iron, and magnesium supplement. Tomatoes require a large amount of calcium. (calcium nitrate) A few more questions: what is the airt emp, what is your humidity, do you have ventilation, powder or liquid fert, what is your pH, how often do you exchange your nutrients, how is your water temp, and do you have a lot of oxygen in your DWC? Sorry for all the questions, but it is information needed to diagnose your problem.

A local one. "Three part perfection" liquid nutes. It is 4.1% Calcium. 6% nitrogen, 3% phosphorus, 5.2% potasium. etc. Air sits around 24'C, except at night where it may drop to around 15'C. The water isn't heated so pretty similar. I'd say there was a fair bit of oxygen but I dont really have a feel for it u know, the pumps are 2x 200lph rated, one per bucket. Thats 6666cc/min per bucket. In theory. Plenty of ventilation and I bought a fat fan for them today. Ph around 6.5 (although this isn't with a good meter just a pool kit).

The buckets are also about to be recirculated just finishing that off.

Have ordered an EC meter and Ph meter today to try sort this one out.

Sorry, I didn't pay attention to where you live. I don't believe it is available in Australia. oops You will be much happier having a EC and Ph meter. Alot less unknowns in the equation. Your macro percentages actually sound really good for a healthy tomatoe production. You mentioned that it is a three part. Would it be a micro, grow, and bloom for each solution. If so remember to always add the micro first to your stock solution. No chance of percipitation. When you get your pH meter try maintaining a lower pH. (5.8) Over the years we have been doing much better at these slightly lower levels. For one, Phosphorous is much more available at the lower levels. Is your new fan for an exhaust or intake application? It sounds like you have plenty of O2 in your system, and changing your solution is a great idea. There is also products designed flushing your system. They rebalance the osmotic potentional in your root zone. Kind of a band aid for your root system. They can also be used at the very end of a cycle to flush the plants of any excess nutrients built up in the plant. Just something to think about. Let me know how it goes after you change your solution.

The new fan is just to create wind:). It's a oscillating 40cm fan and does the job nicely. Also the room has open windows that I figure would let a fair bit of air in and out.

My nutes are 3 part whole life. I have no clue what's what, 2 are clear 1 is brown.

Will be about a week I reckon before my meters arrive and solution is changed. Ive already played around going back to half strength from full strength and am not convinved this cured my maters. There is still curly rubbery leaves developing here and there and twisty curly stems up top (this later phenomena has spread to all plants now lol) - But hey, the first tomatoes are growing now, so it might turn out ok after all. :)
