Need of Help Pickiing minis for new garden

Now that I am closer to being able to dig a hole I am planning a new section of my Noopiming Garden (Ojibwe; deep north woods). Staying with my northwoods theme this is going to be a mini-hoha (sick play on Longfellow's Hiawatha) garden under a gnarled old lilac thats more tree than shrub.

I alreadyhave BME, Cracker Crumbs and Stiletto. Please show me what mini-hohas you think I should add. The area is about 1`2 x 25 feet, but I want nothing bigger than the smallest small not considered a mini.

I would also like to see what companions to plant with such small hostas. The location will get no more than 2 hours of direct sun each day at low angle morning and late afternoon.

(What I really am asking to see how you have presented your mini hostas! lol) I know some of you have done so very creatively.

Thanks

Les
