Welcome that is a very nice looking plant you have. I agree with Jan, it's a carnosa. I have one like it that I got from my husbands aunt about 30 years ago and they do get huge and do best if not fussed over to much. Mine is as tall as me and in a 14" pot. As for repotting it I would suggest you leave it on the trellis or support it's on and that will make it easier to handle. Several years ago when I put mine into the larger pot I wanted to get it onto a larger trellis so I took on the task of untwining the vines and stretched them all out on my patio and wound them onto the larger trellis one at a time so it can be done that way but it's very time consumeing. I wouldn't go to large on the pot since they bloom better when pot bound. Jo

all the carnosas have differences so you cant look at a KP or KQ and compare it to any other type, you also cant compare one KQ or KP or Chelsea or any other one to another one because there are so many variables suck as location and growing conditions (artifficial light to natural light, and so on) one KQ and n\another KQ will look simelar, so that you know right off the bat that they are both KQ's but they can also be very different... it just depends on their environments...

Hard to tell what they are from this distance, I'd guess the 1st is Carnosa, the 2nd either that or maybe a Pubicalyx. What info is the seller offering pls? Seems to me they'd have something to say esp. for plants this large, where'd they come from &why they're being sold, etc?

It is a carnosa and it will do just fine in that West window! The leaves will lighten, but more light does encourage blooming (however, carnosa is one of those that likes to take it's sweet time to bloom...it could take a couple of years).
