Help with I.D. of my hoyas (last one!) - Hoya carnosa ?

User

I guess this is the most common of all hoyas but is it just called Hoya Carnosa ? This one has an interesting story. It came from Europe in the mail in an enveloppe, just 2 leaves and sent in winter. My mother had sent it not realizing that the mail is stored by really low temperatures in Quebec. When it arrived, once past the shock we decided to give a try to the little fellow who travelled so far.

And the cutting rooted and grew all around the structure you see on the picture, blooming every once in a while. But all the plant was still just from one or 2 points of start. At one point it got really bad we never understood why although I suspect a repotting in a pot too big. I managed to salvage 3 cuttings and it grew back from there.

It is definitely not the same as my precedent post with elongated leaves.

I am also wondering if the fact that he is right in front of a west oriented window suits him. Because his leaves were way darker when he was more protected from the sun.

Thanks a lot !!!
