I've pretty much run out of room, so am starting to look hard at smalls and minis. All of the Mouse Ears sports are at the top of my list for next year. My list is short (my open space is...gone?)

Commenting on your wants that I own...

Aristocrat has a nice tidy shape, is somewhat slow, so good to buy a potful locally.

Bright Lights for me is pretty, but slow and small. I think Heat Wave is the tet version, grows MUCH better, has better color, is one of my most favorites.

Brother Ronald. Good-looking dark blue, pretty flowers if the deer don't get them.

Maya Swingtime- bought it in 2005, for me it burned in only partial sun (white spots) early in the season, so I moved it to shade. Not a fast grower here. Like Sea Gulf Steam MUCH better (similar look)

Deep Blue Sea- Very dark blue leaves and VERY bumpy too. Steady grower, not a big blue. Mine grows on the north side of a tree, so maybe it would be bigger with more sun, but I want the max blue.

Hadspen Blue- Holds its blue all season, even in some sun, nice tidy round mound. Still popular for a reason.

Kiwi Full Monty-super plant, grows well like other Striptease sports.

LS Sparkle Plenty. Mine was dinky when I received it, and the critters tunnel around it. Needs to be moved. Not impressed, but it has been tortured & is a survivor.

Mack the Knife-pretty, but the slugs seem to like it. They weren't a problem until the new lamium gave the slimy buggers a place to hang out. Note to self: move the lamium, or move Mack. Easier to move Mack. The lamium is out of control after one year.

Montana Aureo-a must have! Keep trying!

Winfield Blue-one of the bluest early on. Nice wavy leaves like Salute. For early blues, I think I like Carolina Blue better tho'--increases faster(but not wavy).

Climax-This one came back in the second year with the same big leaves I had last year. I am drawn to this one, so I do think it is all that.

Yes, I love checking them off my list, especially if its an expensive one.

If I dont think the price will go down, I will bite the bullet... but it's horrible to pay $20 and 2 years later find them for $7 locally.

Good idea to always have the list handy when shopping, otherwise you might get a duplicate by mistake.

'bluepoppy,---I sure wish I had a place I could get hosta for $7.00--at a reputable place. Any in that price range in my neck-of-the-woods
is a big box store and I've had too many unfortunate situations with buying from them to be very much tempted by their wares!!
