Your photos look like cyclamen mite to me. I believe that I had both Broad Mite and Cyclamen Mite last year. Plants like this one I was able to save by using a Neem-based product called Azamax, available on Amazon (for around $25.00). The key is to get spray into all of the niches and crevices of the plant, ... which is some plants (especially tight or large) ... may be impossible to save. When I concluded that I had Broad/Cyclamen Mites last year, I had 175 plants. I, sorted through my plants and discarded 100 (the worst affected). I had another 65 plants that looked to be unaffected, and 10 plants which were mildly affected that I tried to save with Azamax. To my surprise, I was able to save the plants I treated with Azamax (sprayed occasionally as needed). I replaced a number of the plants that I had to discard, ... and I now have a healthy collection again. I isolated the few plants that I was treating and only moved them back into the collection when there was no more evidence of Mites for some time. One thing that I learned in the process was the need to limit the number of plants I was caring for ... and that I needed to keep my plants from touching each other ... or sharing water between them. I also had to be careful about how I handled my plants. Mites can be spread very easily from plant to plant on your hands. I now know the signs to look for, ... tight centers/ leaves crimping on the edges, and spray the suspect plant when I see anything like this. But the biggest message is that I took plants like the one in your photo and brought it back to healthy growth using Azamax. Gellchom, thanks for your advice about writing a letter. Sadly, I left my regular doctor for another practice because of the same kind of issues I'm having with this one. It wasn't my experience that the doctor really cared, as I had tried to bring up the issues I was having several times. She only referred me to her office manager. My impression is they want to deal with being the doctor, not staff issues. Since the office manager is part of the problem (in both instances), I don't see any more attempts on my part at trying to ''illuminate'' the problem in her office as being any more than a wasted effort. Just because I care, doesn't mean the doctor does! I don't want to pursue any more time in this office. I would have a total of at least 7 more appointments (including surgeries and follow-ups) and I'm not willing to put up with the passive-aggressive, mean-girl, entitlement attitudes. Nothing will change. My husband noticed it quite clearly, within 10 minutes of walking in, and the general atmosphere was the same with at least three of those on staff. I gave it over an hour, and things just escalated from bad to worse. I have an appointment with my regular doctor next week. I've been trying to figure out how much to tell her. I'm sure she doesn't want all the gory details, but I do need a better referral! I'd rather work on it from that end, because I do have a regular relationship with my doctor, who has been very professional.

Thanks everyone for your postings on Restore-A-Deck - I've been waiting (can't really say patiently) to be able to order some in Canada. Ken finally has a company that is handling the product for Canadians. I called Black Box Solutions to order some and within a couple days my RAD was at my door! I don't have any advice.. but I would share my frustration with the school system. We've had ongoing problems with SD lying and breaking the rules. Last year, she was buying hot lunch on Fridays when her mom was picking her up from school. She was eating two lunches and we talked about it and all she would say is 'I wanted to'. So, this year we put a restriction on her lunch card after she bought unauthorized meals and snacks with her card. Well, even though her card is supposed to have a restriction... the Friday before she left for Spring Break, she bought another meal. She figured she was going to her mom for 10 days and we couldn't do anything about it. (She told us this when we asked her about it) Of course, I sent the school an email asking them how they allowed her to buy a meal when she had no money in her account and we had already put a restriction on it... I still have not received a response. SD has agreed to earn the money to pay for the meal... it's not about the money, but that's the consequence to her action. She didn't need it, she wanted it and she can pay for it. Also, the Monday before spring break... it was her birthday. She handed out the leftover cupcakes on the bus & the bus driver said she was getting a citation. Instead, the week she was gone we got a postcard from the bus driver, thanking her for all her help and telling her she can bring the card to the office for a reward. WTH? She made a mess on the bus! She was told to help clean up the bus to make up for the bus driver having to clean up the icing from her cupcakes! All her help was her consequence for breaking the rule on eating food on the bus and making the mess! Why would they 'reward' her for doing what she is supposed to do anyways? I'm proud that SD worked at making it right, but does that mean she's entitled to a 'reward'? I don't think so and I don't get how the school officials think. So, I understand the frustration with the schools that don't seem to want to expect kids to be responsible for their actions. I just don't get it.
