How about this color?

I couldn't include a link to a color chart on my initial post so maybe this will help. I'm thinking that the redish/oranges 43A, 43B, 43C would really make a certain plant grouping I have pop. Your daylily is beautiful by the way and I do appreciate you posting it.

My impression of burnt orange is a little darker than the one above, but lilypatch, that bloom is beautiful! No fair posting without a name!!!

As for sunfast, I don't know what true SUN is living in Washington state, so can't vouch for any of them one way or the other.

How about 'Palo Duro Canyon'?
It's hard to capture the color in a photo but it's the best example of 'Burnt Orange' I've even seen. And it's a real work horse too.

Burnt orange could be a dangerous color in Oklahoma! ;0)

The real SWEET SUMMER HEAT or it's parent, BITTERSWEET HOLIDAY, would be good choices Maryl.

Jan, Your pics of Siloam Sunburst and Jambalaya make me so excited to see mine. I picked up both last fall in my mad orange spree, but both were decimated by slugs to the point that the blooms were nothing to talk about. Next year I hope it's a different story!

Ed-- you are right. My SWEET SUMMER HEAT above is actually BLAZE AWAY. My dogs were kind enough to re-arrange my nametags in that garden, so as those were both relatively new to me and bloomed later, they got the wrong names on them in my pics.

Thank you so much for your suggestions. I'm researching them as they come in. Palo Duro Canyon, Spacecoast Blast Off, Bittersweet Holiday and Indian Ripple are on the "possibles" list with Bittersweet Destiny leading the pack so far. Any others I should consider? I do like the full petaled look.
