will tan/brown walls go with burnt orange accents

Hello,

We are doing a total rennovation--hardwoods, windows, furniture, paint, accessories--of our living/dining room. I would like to have burnt orange and acqua or turquoise accents--pillows, rugs, art, ect. My husband wants the walls a coffee color (his def of coffee would be the color of coffee that has 2 creamers added). Do you think that will go good together--my concern is the burnt orange with the brown?

It is an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings--kitchen, dining, and living all one space. Furniture will be espresso leather sectional. We have lots of windows and patio doors. Our hardwoods will be natural oak. So I don't think a medium color will be too dark.

If so, any suggestions for a tan/brown. I would like it to be a medium color--not too washed out--but not a really dark brown.

If anyone has any pics of this color scheme that would be great!

thanks, Kristine
