Time to start seeds indoors?

Hello all!

I'm getting that middle of winter gardening bug, and was wondering if its too early to start my daylily seeds indoors? I usually either wait a few more weeks or start them outside in the spring, but I've ordered so many off the Lily Auction this year, that I'm itching to get going :) I use seed starting trayings under grow lights with a heating pad under the trays in my laundryroom if that matters. Also, as a general rule. how many seeds to you put in each little peat pod? I've been doing 2-3, but wondered what your opinions were....

Hope you all have a great holiday! One step closer to spring :)

A couple more questions I thought of...
1) When I'm presoaking my seeds, do I keep them in the crisper drawer still or just on the countertop?
2) Out of curiosity, what kind of pots/seeding trays do you use? I've been using the ones that have the little peat cells, but I didn't know if using the small solo cups with holes drilled in the bottom would be better (the size you would use in the bathroom...maybe 3oz)

Thanks!
