Fire Ants

User

Does Fire Ant bait expire? I'm having an awful time with them here in the last couple of months. The bag that I have is from last Fall, so I'm wondering if it's too old. I treated them about a month ago and it didn't help, then I sprinkled some Triazicide around and it helped on some of the hills but then more popped up. So then I hosed down the hills and doused them with Sevin dust and that killed a lot, but now they are popping up all over again. I hate to use chemicals so much but I can't be having these things attacking me and my family and dog, and they especially like to make their home in or around the plant beds, making it impossible to do any weeding in them.
