Mrs G, Once uploaded to PB you go to your library and when you hover your cursor over the picture you want you will see the little gear in the right upper corner. Hover on that and go down to get links and click on it. Click on the one that says Html code.....it will then say copied. Come back here and in the message box right click and choose paste OR hit the ctrl and V buttons at the same time and it will paste.....either way works. Voila picture.........and the reason I had to fence my entire property lol.

If you want to post photos directly into your message you need to put some HTML tags around the links that Photobucket gives you. Copy the HTML code (as momof2 suggests) and add this to the beginning of the code: type this character put this next: (no space) url and then type the opposite character > at the end of the HTML code type this character put this next: /url type this last (no space): > the reason I have to spell it out for you is that when you do it correctly it disappears. Garden Web has a page just for people to practice posts like this. Or you can just keep doing "Preview" until it looks right. I have noticed ALOT of members posting pictures from PhotoBucket & then when you click on the thumbnail to enlarge the picture, the picture comes up with a link on the top right to the rest of the pictures in the photo album. How is this avoided????? Dont look! If you dont want too...:) Everyone...you do realize that gives EVERYONE access to every picture in the album and the ability to copy it. I just worry especially if there a family pictures that one may want to keep private... I asked all my family members if it is okay to post their pictures...:) I am a new gardener and am very proud of my accomplishments :) If they want to steal it..I am honored...I might change my mind in a few years we will see..:) Good subject you brought up..:)

I have listed a lot of plants for the past two weekends and had no trouble at all uploading images! Although they have made a couple of changes as far as selecting a type of text, etc. the uploading is the very same. You have to do it first before you do anything else on your auction. On the right upper side, you see a "Browse" button. I have my Lily Auction pictures all in a folder on my computer - they must be under 100 KB or they won't upload - but then hit browse, find your folder and once you find the picture you want in the folder, hit upload and the picture immediately uploads. I hope this works for you! Good luck! As far as the format, I just hit "paragraph" style, then for text I use Times New Roman and then size 4. It won't let you write until you select those . It takes a few seconds longer but otherwise is pretty much the same.
