Any chance of a pic of the whole plant, including leaves pls? Hard to say from blooms alone, could be several things.

Could it be H. carnosa rubra? I seem to recall that I got it as H. rubra picta, but once I saw a picta, I was convinced it couldn't be a hybrid w/picta. But who knows? Leaves are medium to large, very variable, some flat like carnosa (though more succulent), some are incurved and large. New leaves usually start out almost purplish, then turn green pretty quickly. It's one of my oldies-but-goodies...

It's a vigorous bloomer for me. It's starting its bloom cycle as we speak.

Hi and thanks for taking the time to reply. I'll get a picture of the whole plant but it might be some time before I can post it. I don't have a digital and need to get the 35mm film developed.

The new leaves are dark / almost purpilish so maybe....

Well maybe if you could pls. describe the leaves then? If oblong or elliptical, pointed ends or not, speckled leaves or solid, all green, etc.

In the 1st pic, the leaf ends look almost rounded, certainly not pointed.

I found a picture, not *real great*, of one of the plants. They are actually a little darker green than my non-photographic skill depict here. LOL!

Chicka, if your flowers are even in the slightest pink (can't really tell from the photo, but looks that way), then I suspect you have a Carnosa. If they are truly whiter than white, then you most likely have a Motoskei.

From the leaves (thx for the 2nd pic), I'm guessing it's a Carnosa.

I have a Motoskei (looks nothing like this), which has larger, much more rounded leaves, almost as if related to Obovata.

I agree with Carnosa. My Motoskei also has different looking leaves (larger in diameter) and the leaves on mine have a lot more speckling than my normal Carnosa.
