They should still be late and extra late bloomers. However, since mid season is earlier on the calender for you than it is for us then expect them to bloom earlier than they would here.

You know Rita I have been wanting to add some late bloomers but just couldn't wrap my brain around whether they really would be late bloomers. I think the majority of mine are mid season but I really hadn't put much thought into it til this year. OK, gives me a reason to place another order. lol!! Might look for early bloomers too. haha!! Our climates are pretty similar. I got some late bloomers from Woodhenge, and they did indeed bloom late in my season...but, as Rita, said, your "late" will be sooner than hers. I have two of the same ones Rita got, and mine bloom about three to four weeks earlier than hers do. But they are still late for our part of the country.

My latest ones are re-bloomers, that had bloomed earlier...sometimes, much earlier.

Ok, Judy here is a good example of how it works in my garden for late and extra late. I will use Olallie Gardens intros late bloomers as my example. Go down their late catagory and pick ones listed as mid September in their zone. So VT is I think a zone 4. Planted in my garden that mid Sept starting daylily starts mid August. But mid August is late here as regular season stuff is blooming on the 4th of July. So as you bring it south, it starts blooming earlier than the date they list.

Thanks a bunch Kay and Rita! You both explained it great for me to understand. Now I need to go check out Olallies and any other places you know of that has some good lates. I was glancing at Isabel Hibbards site and there were some pretty ones that weren't too expensive for me to try. Thanks again for helping me ladies. Judy
