Cuban Tree Frogs
Comments (8)Lived in Fort Myers for five years, quickly realized why neighbors kept all the outside lights off at night, they just attract bugs that attract the frogs. Every morning there was a mess to clean up by the front door. Also, they love tubes, and will get in your plumbing vents and possibly into your toilets (I had this happen). Cover your vents with screening to keep them out. Some people trap them by sticking short lengths of pvc pipe in the ground. Live in Venice now, have only seen one cuban tree frog, but I think I'd trade them for the fruit rats we have here (also living in the plumbing vents)....See MoreAnother Question On Our Lost Archives
Comments (11)If you do a search on your own GardenWeb name you'll get an idea of what we've lost. I admit I've been here a long time (since March 2001) and have probably accumulated more posts than most, so maybe it bothers me more, but I feel like I've lost part of my history. Before the crash I had over 600 posts! Now when I search for my name I come up with 33. (No, no, I didn't count them! It tells you have many postings were found.) Maybe if we all send a request they'll try harder to reinstate our old posts. Go to the Home page and scroll down to the bottom. Click on "Contact Us" and send them an email. I know they listen to us, even if they don't respond. It's worth a try. Kate (I guess this is post #34. I feel like a Newbie!)...See MoreCuban Tree Frog????
Comments (17)omg im so sorry someone said that to you. I would have seen if there are forum rules and if you could have reported them. I don't understand why people can't act like adults and say something like " I don't advocate killing frogs " or " im against killing frogs " and not directly insulting people. That quote " the more people I meet the more I love my dogs " is so true. I kill any frog that comes near my house because I don't them to hurt my dogs. I believe all the ones I see are cane. I don't slaughter them. I just toss them in a shopping bag, seal tight and toss in the trash so they suffocate. If frogs wouldn't possibly kill my dogs I wouldn't hurt them but after working for a vet and seeing a few dogs a week die from coming in contact with those, im not taking any chances...See MoreCuban Tree Frog?
Comments (2)I believe so. The skin is too bumpy to be any of the native Treefrogs....See Morelaura1
