You still some really pretty blooms, Julia. I think I like Westbourrne Hard Times the best, but Cottage Candy is really pretty too.

40's at night. Owe. Too cold for this early in the year! Glad you got you pictures in spite of you forgetfulness with the camera card. I love both AZTEC GOLD and COTTAGE CANDY so I make them a tie for my favorite.

COTTAGE CANDY looks great, and I like WB HARD TIMES too. If it is getting too close to freezing, I would definitely cut the scapes and bring them inside where you can still enjoy them. They'll continue blooming nicely for a week or more after being cut (assuming they don't run out of buds first of course).

Julia, what a nice bonus to your season. I think Cottage Candy's color is my absolute favorite. I can't believe she's not a dormant. Seems like most times that color turns out that way for me. Plus she's a late bloomer. I'll have to put her on my list.

Very pretty blooms and I love them all. You are lucky to have them blooming away this late. I have a scape on one (Maryott's 'World Premiere') that I hope will have time to bloom because it's supposed to be getting cold here in the next few days. The trees are already starting to turn colors so I know I don't have much time left.

Julia, Lovely photos! I was wondering what kind of camera you use? And are the indoor photos as good as your outdoor pics? I'm thinking of getting a new camera because I'm not happy with the indoor photo quality. I could keep this old one exclusively for garden shots.

Julia, forgetting the cf card just gives one an excuse to go out and admire those lovely daylilies again:) But who needs excuses, huh? These are beautiful! And this late in the season it is such a treat to find them still blooming. Enjoy!

COTTAGE CANDY is a keeper.

VICTORIAN LACE survived but its bloom is butt ugly and doesn't even look like VL. It tried to open yesterday and seems to be hung up. I went back here on the forum and looked at posters photos and sure doesn't have the same coloring. I'm not sure if its a weather thing or the wrong plant. Time will tell.

Kathy: Yes, the picture quality is just as good inside as out. I use a Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT with a telephoto lens that has IS. I haven't ever taken the lens off and put back the original lens back on since I started using it. I think I will try it just to see what the difference in picture quality would be outside. I love this camera even if it is heavier than the Canon Powershot SD800 IS, which I also have.

Vickie: I reset the camera so that if the CF card is not in the camera it will display a message. But you are right...I did get to go back out and visit the garden again ;-).

As a tip, if you want to know what camera someone is using for their pictures,settings, etc, you can click on the photo and typically it will take you to the posters album photo in whatever web hosting site they are using. You will see on the right side "Photo Info" which you click on the little arrow next to it (Photobucket) or it will open with all the Photo Info listed (Picasa). Also know that if you haven't marked your albums as "Private" anyone can access all your photo albums, if that matters to you.
