Compacta Baby

Okay, so here's the situation:

Last summer, I took a vine from my grandma's very old Hoya Compacta plant and stuck it in water. Then, after it rooted, I took that vine, cut the top part off, and rooted that portion, too.

On Thanksgiving Day of 2008, I planted the two little cuttings and put them in a small pot. Here, is what we have so far:

So now, I have a few questions for you experts.

My first question, is: Is that pot too big? I understand that hoyas prefer to be rootbound for flowerinng--is the same true for growing leaves/vines (right now, my priority is making this thing grow! :).

My next question would be: In the coming months, I plan on getting another vine cutting and sticking more little plantlets into the pot (or a bigger pot, depending on the amount of cuttings I end up with) to make a fuller plant. Would you recommend this?

My final question would be: What are some other hints/suggestions to get this baby going? So far, I am really happy with what he's been doing for me! :)
