Red Rampage?

I've been looking for a good red that has a fair amount of yellow. Recently came across Red Rampage. Anybody grow this in their garden (tom? :-) ) The only thing about this is it lacks ruffles and the yellow is minimal. Any other suggestions? Under $50.

Well Nate my favorite is Malaysian Marketplace and I got excited thinking yay I have that one on order. But alas as I went to look at my order it is Malaysian Monarch not Marketplace. Jean - I will never understand people who would try and hurt a defenseless, innocent animal for no reason at all, it's just sick. I'm glad that Snoopy made it through all that and came out okay. It's one of the reasons none of mine go outside. I'd be scared to death that something would happen to one of them. I actually only set out to have a dog and 2 cats. The younger two cats (Henry and Tucker) were strays that I found on the streets, felt sorry for and brought them home. Henry has a neurological problem and wobbles when he walks, he also has an undeveloped hind end so he doesn't jump the best but he doesn't know any different and gets along just fine. Jason

Hi Rita, I would not give up on Francois Verhaert yet. The one good bloom was magnificent. Once it settles in the number of good openers and total blooms should go up. Siloam Double Classic blooms single for me the first two weeks and then settles in to blooming double. My best budcounts last year were on South Seas and Frans Hals. Frans Hals had one scape with 35 buds and South Seas averaged about 25. Edward

I have RR and have prictures of it. Tried to find them last night but it took me forever and when I finially found them, the darn forum was down so I could not post.

I will post them later. It is a very lovely flower.

After seeing your pictures I went ahead and ordered it. It is a nice red. Since I got it and a few others from Maryott's I'll be getting the bonus.

That is it for me this year. My husband is going to wring my neck if I buy anymore.
