Still have several blooms going while others are doing their finale. Some I've posted before. Amazing how long the season is running this year. Blame it on the rain I guess.

STRUTTERS BALL - still have several more blooms to go.

You still have alot going on. Lots of really, really nice ones I could have picked for a favorite. But the one I choose would be STRUTTERS BALL. Truly fantasticly dark purple. Looks great to me.

OK in for a quick break for lunch, and to throw the ham in the oven 4 dinner.. Karma, the puppy has been pretty good today..but only when I am watching, lol. If I am outside and the garden gate is open, she goes over, looks at me, then I say 'hey outta there' and she goes. SHe's learning..thank god! It IS fun changing stuff around. I moved my dirt piles into the garden where I havent tilled yet, the 'new' area, lol. so she can't dig in them anymore, lol. New fence eh? Gotta keep that peeper out, lol. Hey Kylie, Karma's got a spring peeper! lmao! How is that going by the way, with that nosey ol' neighbor? CC it is supposed to be a high of 75 here today, then tomorrow 55, seems like the extended forecast says mid 50's to upper 60's for the next few days. Perfect working conditions. I dont mind doing it when it's hot, can always jump in the pool to cool off! Kylie, lol, I am trying to take pix, my camera has a mind of its own lately, and only works when it wants. I have a few so far, but I am gonna wait till I have more, then make a slideshow so I can post w/the whole time line thang. Karyn, If you were closer I would def come and help! I can't get enough. I used to help my mom all the time b4 she moved to PA. I did all her digging. Ugh, I havent even gotten mulch yet. I keep forgetting to call the town and see when they are putting out their free stuff. My luck it came and went already, lol. When you hire people to come work in your yard, do you watch them like a hawk? lol, I know I would be..I'd be makin sure they didnt screw anything up. Kristy, have fun fishing! Catch some monsters! And get that pergola!!!!

I like your Romanian Rendezvous so just keep right on taking pictures and posting it. Mary Alice Stokes is very pretty and would be my pick for favorite of this batch. I have Beyond Riches myself too and I just don't like it. I remember it being more orange last year and this year more yellow but I could be wrong. Mine has been blooming away and is still blooming but I just ignore it.

Chris, Dragon Fang was planted in the garden last fall and put up a scape that was taken out by the first frost. So this year is it's first time blooming here. The picture posted above is of the best bloom it has produced so far this year. I wasn't very happy with it's earlier blooms, but I like it now. The first few flowers were more of a brownish red color, and the pic on Jamie Gossards site the color is purple. I don't know if the teeth will become any more pronounced. To me they have looked pretty much the same on every flower that has opened so far. Hope this info answers your question. Linda

I just took a picture (but haven't uploaded it yet) of SEA GOLD. Really glad I got this one and the color of mine looks exactly like your picture. You are right about DAVID KIRCHHOFF... it has many faces. I only had a few blooms this year, and I never knew what it was going to do. I just got FRANCIS OF ASSISI this year, so am glad to know it's a good performer. I think my favorite of the bunch would be SILOAM LITTLE GIRL. After what you said about it's rebloomability, it sounds like a winner to me:) I can't believe I actually have rebloom scapes. Buttered Popcorn, Witch Stitchery, and now Red Volunteer. I hope the warm weather stays around long enough for them to really show off. Red Volunteer just popped up the other day. Vickie

Pearl Harbor is nice, not familiar with that one, thanks for posting it. I also need to look into Autumn Wood, it looks great. Many great pics. My Strutters Ball finished up quite some time ago. That's great that yours is still going, it is such a great DL.

Wow, You really have some beautiful blooms going on.I love every one of them, but,I think my very favorite one is CITRON ENCHANTER.Love the color and the ruffled edge too..Sure like your mini pearl . I have that one too,and its a nice sized clump, but its never looked this pretty yet.I have never had m ore then 2 blooms at a time on it.

That's one of the fun aspects of this forum...getting to see blooms (when yours are done) on daylilies as the season moves on, zone-wise.

I'm partial to pinks, so Second Thoughts talks to me...although I can't listen...lol...as I still have to find room for those sitting in pots...

Isn't it great to take pictures of your beauties and then be able to share them with others? As for us, we can sit here and enjoy them without sweating and needing bug spray...win/win!

Nice variety -- and I really like the color of SCOTTISH FANTASY. Bright pink and good bud count make it right up my alley.

You have so many pretties still! I love your Strutter's Ball. Citreon Enhancer is gorgeous, Sea Gold and Pearl Harbor are each delicate and lovely in their own way, but I think Indy Magic may be my pick...not easy to choose from a bevy of beautiful blooms.

Wow gorgeous photo's. I couldn't get over how clear and sharp they are. I had to go back thru them to look at the flowers cause the first go round I was amazed by excellent photos, did you get a new camera?

Stutter's Ball is fabulous and I love the pink on Scottish Fantasy.

I enjoy seeing your late pics since it is good info for me!
I also think you may have solved my mystery daylily. I think it might be Sea Gold. I'm going to make a new post showing pics. Let me know what you think. Anyone else is welcome to chime in too!
