anyone growing Clementella?

I'm looking for a nice and easy daylily for landscaping for my condo grounds. more blooms the better and could use Stella, I guess.

But I ran across this at Bloomingfields Farm Daylilies and it looks like it out-produces Stella.

Anyone use it? or have any other recommendations that aren't yellow?

Nice color. The way it reads I would say it blooms,rests a few weeks and reblooms.If you are looking for "constant" blooms,I would maybe mix it with STELLA. A bright combination.Below is a link to some that Apps has hybridized. Maybe someone on the forum grows CLEMENTELLA,and can tell you more.

I just planted 'Clementella' from Bloomingfields this spring. So far it's increasing well for a new addition. (It was quite small as a new cluster of fans; the foliage is narrow.) I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs in the future, with an eye to using it in some hybridizing. Sorry, I can't give you any information about it as a mature plant yet.

I can't understand these reviews. Perhaps mine is not a true Parfum de L'Hay? All I know is that it is my favorite rose -- outstanding in every way: fabulous fragrance, vigorous growth, first to bloom and last to stop blooming. Finally, don't tell anyone, but the petals are super amazing to eat! I make rose pastries to die for. And I cultivate all the most fragrant roses: Gertrude Jekyl, Papa Meilland, Mme Isaac Pereire, and many more, yet this is the star of the show. "Old Rose" fragrance too, not just funny fragrance. Since you say it does not repeat, mine must be something else, so I should re-name it. Very dark red, and loaded with thorns.

It is along the property line, and the main leader got damaged, I cut it down, and these 4 are here now. You can see why I asked about slow growth, the original trunk was not too much taller than the 4 that sprung up, it was about 4 ft at it's tallest. I'll try what you said Bama, and see what happens.

Well, yikes, came across this old thread while trying to figure out what is going on with my Cabbage rose from RVR. Based on the discussion and pictures here it seems my two year old Cabbage Rose is really Russelliana instead. I wasn’t planning on a rambler this size! Anyone have pictures of her being trained rather than left to ramble? Can she be contained to say 8x8 or kept flat along a fence? That‘s about the most I can give her. She is beautiful and I would love to keep her if I can figure out a placement in my already crowded urban lot. I wonder if the original rose was labeled in a messy cursive and so The Cottage rose became The Cabbage rose and so it remains on the RVR website to this day 🤷‍♀️
