I didn't have much luck with cuttings although I only tried once. They do put up little baby plants and you might try looking even a little ways from the actual plant. They seem to come up everywhere once you get them established. Also, you will have seeds sometime this summer and you could always send those to your family.

Also, it will only grow there as an annual, the frost will kill it. Try to get a piece long enough to get 3 of the leaf nodes in the ground. This works for rooting anything, 3 leaf nodes in the ground. :o)

I don't grow it but my friend does and she always has seedlings. As Pat said look around and see if you have any seedlings poping up.

I have seedlings popping up usually. I'm sure there are some there now.
Also have some seeds collected last winter if you need 'em.
I don't really advertise that I have seeds to folks around here, because I don't want them cussing me out when the vine swallows their house and car and spreads over every neighborhood tree!

Coral vine seeds will require a padded mailer, they're kinda big.
