You have a lot of pretty ones today, nat4b. the wild Horses trio and clump look really good. Perfect bloom on Gilded by Grace. Your Feathered Storm does resemble a rose. I can see why Court Magician is still there...it's a lovely color.

Good to know that your Christopher Moody is doing ok, as mine is doing nothing this, its first, year. Gilded by Grace in general is disappointing here. The last two are especially nice pictures.

Yeah both of those are small plants (Christopher Moody and Gilded by Grace), but I think for the southern plants they are doing well here. I really like both.
I had a rose (Double Knockout) right near that red double, maybe that's why when I look at this spot they remind me of roses.
Also found one more bud on Russian Temple, it was really hiding under that bloom :)

Love the form on Nature's Crown. That form is my favorite on doubles. Like a fluffy dollop of whipped cream. Nice edges on it too......Navaho Princess is a winner too, and Guilded by Grace is strutting her stuff. I'd be hard pressed to part with any of them. Good Luck to you.........Maryl

That's a huge clump of Wild Horses! Those flowers are galloping in every direction. Mine barely bloomed at all this year. It's in a place that's too dry, too shady, and too weedy. I need to rescue the poor thing. I love the photo of the Wild Horses trio. The blooms have a lot of impact. I'm wowed by today's shot of Gilded By Grace. It's just perfection. Christopher Moody looks fabulous too, and it's great to know it has instant rebloom. I got it this spring, but my plant is limping along and not growing well. Court Magician is such a nice purple - in my opinion Munson's best purple - so I can see why you still have it. At one time I had two clumps. One seems to have disappeared, and the other bloomed while I was out of town, so it's good to see yours.

Debra, yes, that was the best bloom on Gilded by Grace. I am planning to add another (smallish) clump to this one. I bet Christopher Moody will do great in your garden. Mine is only 2 years old and I'd say not bad for our climate.
I wish Court Magician opens well most of the time, but it doesn't, but I do like the bloom.

I like you pic of WILD HORSES. I know how it is when you think you need to move something out...decisions decisions.
Your red double reminds me of FIRES OF FUJI. Very nice pic you have your double.
COURT MAGICIAN I think needs to be in a zone 7 or higher. It is leaving here this year and thankfully to a zone much higher than mine. Some plants just do better without all the up and down temp changes which have been more recurring this year.
