Ooooops! Heth this may be wayyyy too belated but I had several chaos happening/stuff to arrange on the home front. That tiny turnip has only grown from 1/2" to 2" (it's a foreshortened angle so looks smaller than it really is) and it's almost the end of September. My other orchid's baby leaf is at a standstill for 3 months!!!! whereas it's other bifoliate leaf grew like dynamite (within 1-2 weeks)! I still suspect that secondary bifoliate leaf is hiding something??? maybe it is indeed hiding a spike???? It's still spotted! even 3 months later and barely grew whereas it's other bifoliate leaf didn't have any spots on it. Naughty orchid is taking forever! But then I read other people waiting 2 whole years. I'd go beserk! LOL! Whitecat and Orchid126 I am going from happy dance to hopping impatient, hee-hee! Heth my orchids are cattelya hybrids (Lc. The last of the snow has melted from my garden. Still too wet to clean the lawn and nothing yet on my winter sown pots. We do have rain today forcasted for the Ottawa area so that should help move things along. Indoors at work I have a ton of babies, my tomato plants are a good 6-8" after being repotted from their sprouting stage. I looked at my garden catalogues with the plants - perennial geraniums about $7.00 with tax....I have 5 so far growing from seeds indoors. Thank heavens for seeds and trading/sharing with fellow gardeners. It is so expensive to buy plants. Saved the seeds from my petunias last year and they are doing nicely on the windowsill as well, pansies, chives, gaillardia, lupins. I will try to grow anything and everything. Today I will have to get some more dirt at lunch and hit a few more window spaces in the office. They have been pretty good about my seedlings and very interested. The only smart thing I did last fall was turn my garden beds, clean them up and cover them with landscape fabric so they will not be full of weeds this spring for my new babies. I will be incorporating bags of leaves I saved and some fresh compost. We have also decided to do a wooden deck as our patio stones have more than seen better days. I am saving the bricks for the garden, going to recycle the fence that is being replaced into wooden planters with benches and paint them bright colours. I will line the planters with pond liners so the wood doesn't rot out. Also have morning glories starting at work too. I may just keep them at work and trail them around the windows. That has been my spring so far. Dragged out the plastic table and chairs on Sunday. Digging out my garden shoes and starting to look for shorts!

Smurfy are you Karen? Maybe I am just forgetful to much or confused. Or you just loved to share YOUR pictures lol. Which I agree with Karyn...what a flush on the white one especially!! "If anyone wants to see them..." are you kidding!!! Your Christmas decor is always like a DREAM, and this year's was that and more! I'll never get my jaw off the floor where I dropped it. And where on earth do I even start?? You make me want a Christmas Lady (I loved Judith's too). The elegance and romance is just breath-taking. The Victorian looks really appeals to me. The beautiful trees, WOW. The Wizard of Oz Tree is delightful. Your buffet....send to me asap please. With the decor of course! Then there is that mantel, OH MY! I clicked on each photo to see the big version, and all the details you do are just wonderful. Of course I snagged some photos for the Inspiration albums. And if anyone were to think PINK doesn't go with Christmas, then I'm sure you've just converted them! (some of you guys did that to me several years ago. LOL. I can't believe I use to not like Pink!!) I'm so glad you are back, loaded with photos, and have a new computer to play with. Happy New Year! I'm also so glad to see more Christmas decorations. I just NEVER get tired of looking at them, any time of year. If I had my way, we'd do a Christmas vignette or table once a month! LOL.
