Here are a few more of mine that bloomed; some before Alex and the rains and some after. Was so busy that I didn't get to download and post for a while.

Hardy Red Hibiscus Shrub-Grown from cutting last year that I brought from Weatherford here.

Hardy Red Hibiscus Bloom-Not 12-13" yet here this year, but was almost always at least 12" in Weatherford.

I do have rebloom scapes coming on some of mine, but for the most part, they are done except A Friend to All and I'm waiting for Cat Scratch to finish scaping and anxious to see her blooms for the first time, as she was new last year and didn't bloom in my garden. So, I will be getting most of my daylily fixes looking at the candy on here! LOL Jan G.

Love the view across the fields and your parents garden. My favorite here was a no brainer and so easy to pick. A FRIEND TO ALL it is and it is just so lovely especially in that multiple bloom shot. Mine just started blooming today but I didn't think the picture I took turned out.

MY CAT SCATCH has scapes too! Hurray. Mine had not bloomed last year either. The scapes are rather small yet, which pleases me as that means it really will bloom late and thats what I wanted.

What are those rusty "feet" behnd the Center of Attention pic? Looks like a pretty cool piece of garden art! I'd love to see some wider shots of the beds as a whole, so we can see how the plants are arranged overall. Thanks very much!

Thanks! Glad everyone likes A Friend To All as much as Rita and I do. That was one of my 3 splurges for new intros for spring '09, and one that I have not regretted getting at all!!! She is so beautiful, bright, and cheerful. She also amazed me that in this SE Texas scorching heat and humidity, she hardly looks phased by the end of the day, even if the temps are over 100, or close to, which we have already had a few times this summer. She also holds well in rain. Just an all around beauty and performer for me! Jan G.

Very nice ones! A Friend To All and the red hibiscus are my favorites of your photos. I also like the looks of Promised Day and Shark Attack.
