May be a lot of Rain but no Tears here

User

I have never seen such plump daylily buds as I am seeing this year. Of course I also have not experienced as much rain in the last 10 years as I have seen this spring and summer. Hopefully the local deer won't notice the big fat buds or I will shed a few tears.

This is my first blooms for No More Tears (check out those buds). While the color is a little blotchy due to the rain, I am loving the shade of pink in sharp contrast to the bright yellow throat.

Siloam Double Classic - the "clump'

This daylily truly is a "Vision of Beauty"

Here's another picture of Incendiary and I love it as much as I did the first bloom. It's the orange throat that grabs my attention

Unknown yellow is quite lovely and the clump is as big as the Siloam Double Classic clump above.

I selected the "red" Fabulous Frieda - also a first time bloom. I do love the shade of red, however it needs its own location to shine. It really clashes with all the pastels it is planted next to now.
