The Salmon Star lily is beautiful. I really need to look into adding more lilies to the garden.

Your BORN TO RUN is exquisite. I have this one too and most of the blooms were a mess, but I really wanted to love it, so next year I'm going to spray for thrips and treat it really, really special, because in photos it is my most favorite daylily. Maybe I'll build it a little cabana.

Symphony of Praise is certainly NO consolation prize. Tim Bell considers it one his finest creations to date. Sister of Praise is just the sister, obviously in second place since it was the sib introduced second. I love SOP. It is a wonderful pink as a garden lily and as a parent.

Let's all build cabanas for BTR! It deserves to look pretty every day.

I love the Salmon Star lily also, it is just so yummy looking :-) Those blooms are all great and I love Symphony of Praise. But my favorite vote goes to Marietta Polkadot. So pretty and so unusual looking.

True, I haven't seen a lot, and I have never seen it in person, but you make me want to add this to my list. Symphony Of Praise is a lovely pink. Also, like Marietta Polka Dot--very interesting with the stippling. And, last but not least, the Salmon Star lily is beautiful. That's one I need, too. Avedon

Born to run really does look magnificent in your photo, makes me really want it, but I don't want one I have to baby. Marietta Polkadot is so very pretty, I had wondered why it was called polkadot :) I have Lake Norman Spider too & just love it. I got 1 Salmon Star bulb last year, it had 1 single bloom this year, but it is so pretty.

Marietta Polka Dot is so unique- I'm thrilled with it :)

A few years ago, Debra noted that her Symphony of Praise was consistently splotchy. I wonder if her recent experiences have been more positive. Your pic of S of P is absolutely flawless!

Mantis - Last year my Symphony of Praise had very little splotchiness. This year it was splotchy about 30 percent of the time. (It definitely has a better track record than Born To Run and Wonder of It All.) But you must remember we have very heavy dew here nearly EVERY morning. Also, a lot of the times I don't take the mushies off because of hybridizing, so I either don't see new blooms (and don't know if they are splotchy) or the mushies add to the splotching. Overall, SOP is a wonderful pink - not my favorite, but in the top five. As a garden plant, I would recommend it 75%. As a hybridizing plant, I would recommend it 100% because it sets seed in extremely high temps and produces a high percentage of keeper seedlings. It just depends on what you're looking for in a pink.

You have a beautiful crop. ctc. But my very favorite is Dragon King out of all of the beauties. I think Marietta Polkadot would come in second, but Pineapple Moon is beautiful and so , of course, is the beautiful bloom of Born to run. I also like your iothers, and love the lily.

Wow, you did a great job on the pics but I'm curious about the polka dot one (which is stunning by the way). I just don't see the stipling in the closeup or am I confused and the eye area is where the stipling effect is?
Anyway, these are all great. Are you becoming an 'enabler'?

Julia, it's hard to completely capture the detail, but the ring around the eye is completely made up of stippled dots.

I just love that SYMPHONY OF PRAISE, and thos lilies, too,.Very pretty.
