The good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Interesting time in the garden right now.

The Good: The green worms are gone! The flowers are beautiful and blooming. The Earthbox cucumbers are doing great. The melons have little buds on them. I am growing a cauliflower and the thing finally bloomed. I have a handful of blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries forming. My first Earthbox tomatoes are giant and healthy.

The Bad: The armyworms are eating all the tomatoes in the healthy first Earthbox. BT didn't kill them, but it did nuke the first baby hornworm of the season. A tiny bit of powdery mildew is starting. When it rained for two days, the base of two of my melon plants sat in a puddle and rotted and I have to be extra careful with them now. Pill bugs eat whatever seeds I put in the raised bed.

The ugly: My second earthbox of tomatoes and one of the plants in my regular containers have developed curly leaves on top! *&*5&%^%^&%! TLCV, the hot western winds, or herbicide drift (not from my yard)? Ah no!

I didn't take any pictures of the Bad or the Ugly :)
