Dianne, your yard is starting to look really nice and it is very important in the front yard to keep the curb appeal, this way we are all happy. The sword beans are long to germinate but once they come, you will have a long season with them and they can be in the front yard as a showpiece, they are really pretty! remember if you are going to eat them they can only be used when not mature as a pods. And I am so glad that you are coming to the party! hope to see you soon. I don't know much about cameras or taking pictures, mine is a cheap and small Nikkon Coolpix, that is the one I use when taking all the pictures that you see. Dianne, I hope that you get some beneficial bugs and not the bad ones. Try to look in the websites for identifying bugs. I saw an article this week in USA Today about the stinkbug population getting bigger in a good number of states, ours including and not a good method to control them yet. Some of the crops that they prefer tomatoes and peppers! Oh no! Let's hope this year is better, have not seen them yet. Have seen ladybugs arrived. Jo, the trick to grow zucchini is to plant them as soon as the weather is warm, depends on the year, I just look for signs to plant them. The soil has to be warm for the seeds to sprout and sometimes can get cold after that and it did, then you just cover them up. I did not write anything in the calendar because I was just too busy with the visits but I planted zucchini, pole beans and cucumber at the same time. I am getting a bigger plate of zucchini every day, find big ones and I thought how come I did not see this yesterday? varieties are Tiger, Costata Romanesco, Cavilli, Pattipan. I am also getting pole beans daily now, they are also producing great and will report on the new varieties that I am growing. Cucumbers are being slow, they have fruit still small. Getting peppers now, and few survived the winter without protection, were planted close to the house. The new ones planted some of them have fruit ready to pick. Silvia

Hi Ricky, You can count us in. Don't want to pass this next swap-a-que up. Can't commit right now, but wanted to let you know that we are hoping to make it down and over to Boca. I think with Fay's persistance and drama, it might be awhile before folks get back to you in regards to your swap-a-thon. Hopefully, there are others in this area that are interested in a carpool down your way with lots of room to spare to carry down plants and carry up plants. Hope Fay doesn't screw up an event worth checking out. Sue.

I make videos of the garden and announce the name of each hosta. Then, when I watch the video I find that I make mistakes like calling Earth Angel Blue Angel. It happens to the best of us. gesila
