The second one is KWANSO. I don't have a real idea on the first,as I don't have red ones. Is the last one more orange or red colored? What is the size of the bloom and height of the scape?

#1 (if it's a small bloom -- need size) looks like Little Business; #2 Kwanso; #3 Sammy Russell

I don't know what they are, but those are great pictures. What kind of camera do you have?

I agree with Chris on the first two...my first thought on seeing the 1st one was Little Business. What's the size on the bloom? The shape and color are a perfect match for LB.
There's no question on the 2nd one being Kwanso...but the 3rd one I haven't a clue on. Hope you can give them names, and welcome to the forum! :)

Great pictures and I love reds and the first one is a beauty. If it is Little Business I think it will be on my wanted list.

I was going to guess Pardon Me for the first one, but knowing the size would definitely help.

For your comparison, here's a photo of my Little Business.

Thankyou so much for the help in id'ing the blooms. The red one is definitely more red than orange,okbt. It always looks so lovely against the backdrop of the deeper green of our hedge.

The bloom on the first photo is small, as well as the one in the last photo...maybe four inches? The scape is about 3ft in height, with the leaves being much more slender than the Kwanso and my Strawberry Candy dl.

Actually, these photos were taken last summer, as I am awaiting more blooms as the first couple were drenched in a heavy downpour yesterday so I posted last years' photos. I think I used my Nikon D70 for these photos, msrose.

The one that is possibly the Little Business or Pardon Me, I actually have two plants that I always thought were the same. However, upon looking at my photos from last summer, the two have a slightly different shape to the blooms, and now I wonder if they are different. I will post a photo of the second plant tomorrow. Thankyou so much, again! Since discovering this forum and seeing so many beautiful blooms, I think it will be very difficult for me to accept that my tiny yard cannot possible fit much more, but gosh, my interest in daylilies has taken on a whole new dimension! ;)

Little Business and Pardon Me are only 12-18" tall. This one is about 3 feet? Sorry I couldn't help more.

I apologise, I had estimated the height of the one in the first photo, now I see it is indeed about 15-20 inches, not 3ft tall. I am still waiting for blooms to open on the two plants that I have like this, but I do know the bloom is small. The last photo is the one that is 3feet tall. Having looked up the names suggested, it seems to resemble all the photos I was able to find of Pardon Me, due to the deeper red wine colour?

For sure the others seem a perfect match for Sammy Russell and Kwanso. Thanks again.

I think the color of your first photo is too "wine-colored" to be Pardon Me, which is a bright red. The petals also appear to be a different shape. Sorry -- don't have any other ideas.
