Here's a few that are blooming late in my garden and some already blooming on rebloom scapes.

Ok Jan....I "Need" that batch.....:) All just beautiful.....Hmmmmm I guess I will have to add new beds around the fence on the Special Project...I feel the Need for more Hems......LOL Thanks for sharing...MM has always been a favorite for me...keep a few clumps of it..all around.BC sure puts on one heck of a show....wow!

Thank you everyone! :) Jim, honestly I do not know if it is a rebloomer, but now you've got me thinking..usually I prune it hard after it flowers, maybe this year I'll let it go awhile longer and see if it does rebloom. I can't wait till my NBJ's bloom. Got any pix of yours in bloom? Anyone know if they will bloom 1st year from seed? Karyn, and Jim..have you guys tried the Knockout roses? They are the easiest rose to grow in my opinion. They bloom from spring till the first killing frost here. DH's uncle couldn't believe I still had roses blooming at the end of November last year, he was absolutely amazed...was the good ol KO's! I know the KO's are all the rage in Florida, they bloom year round there if I remember corectly. Yes Shawn, the KO roses are a carefree rose, you don't even have to prune, but I am constantly removing the spent flowers and trimming off the hips. I only leave the hips over the winter. And they are disease and black spot resistant as well. But my reds have some kinda lil white spots on the leaves this year..don't know what's up with that, otherwise they look healthy, blooms are nice. I WISH my whole yard was one big flower bed! DH and kids are ready to kill me as it is, lol. Yes, the Snow on The Mtn is a groundcover, supposed to be only 12" tall, but mine is over that, how about yours? It's so pretty isn't it? I need more.. I wonder if I can seperate that? I love variegated plants. I wish everything I had was variegated. Karyn, yes the passi seeds, mandevilla laxa, and the night blooming jasmine are all from seeds you sent me that I started in Jan. Oh, and the KMOTGG which I absolutely LOVE BTW, it hasn't even flowered yet, but I am SO in love with the foliage..so pretty, and o soooo soft!!! I could sleep on that plant, lol. Thank you! :) Theresa, lmao, I need to surround my whole dang yard with it! Thanks again everyone :)

Thank you Val. Some are better than others but improvement is on the way. It's been very hot for the last few days and we are supposed to get some rain wed nite and Thurs. That will help!! Linda, that's pretty much why she was named that. Frank Smith said some kept repeating " Fabulous" as they went through the garden so, hence, her name. Thanks you guys. :) Chris and Sharon...this is BS 3rd year in my garden also, and it's first year to bloom, but man has it ever been blooming. I figured the drought from the past 2 years probably resulted in no blooms on it until now, as it has on some other of my dl's. IMO however, BS was worth waiting for. Jan

Ann...we got several nice rains during the last couple of weeks of July....almost 2 inches on the 26th so I guess that's really helped my dl's along too. I don't water with city water though....have a well on my place that I use to irrigate my garden, but even that is not as good as a rain. Glad you all like my CG....it's rebloom is much more vibrant than it's first bloom. Looks like I'll be having more rebloom for a while longer, saw a couple of new scapes popping up on some this morning. It's been a great dl season for me this year. :) Jan

Love every one of them. I'm into bright pinks & lavendars, but I like that edge too. Then, orange catch the eye... I like'em all!

Very pretty Jan! I love BC! My star of fantasy is blooming now for me too! Ive had it for a while, but this is the first time ive seen it bloom, and I love it! It is definitly a keeper! Great pics! -Jessica

FFO on Olin Criswell, nice late bloomer, soft yellow

Cherry Pie Deligt is a new one, but just keep on blooming, and the blooms are huge. It gave me a set of twins today, and yes that's apples on the ground near it...I have an old apple tree in the same bed where it's planted!!! :)

Inspired Hymns is an intro from one of my favorite LA sellers, Packrat. It was a bonus this season, and this is it's FFO on rebloom.

Jan, it's interesting how you say those are late bloomers or rebloomers, when up north here in WI, the blooms are just now early-mid!

I just planted Star of Fantasy last fall, and after seeing yours, am eager to see if mine turns out the same. (Of course, mine may not bloom until August)!
