Just thought I'd post some more photos for folks to see.

This is my first real year with a DL bed so some of these are still getting settled in, I think.

Nairobi Night

- It's a bit darker than it looks in this pic.

Swan Pond

- not as white as my Gentle Shepherd, but still a nice soothing color.

Siloam Virginia Henson

- I'm going to trade this one since it's not a fave, but I can't believe how many buds it has!

Little Grapette

- I really like this little guy!

Bela Lugosi

Baby Tiger Paws

- this one is so cute! Sweet little 3" buds. Perfect for my front row.

Jealous Refinement

Indian Giver

- Somehow I ended up with 2 of these plants, so I'll be trading one.

Jolyene Nichol

- I'm pretty sure that's what this one is...

Beautiful daylilies. That last one might not be Joylene Nichole. Here is what mine looks like. I could be wrong.

Littlehelper - I side with Dora. You are lost, start thinking about purchashing a shelving unit with lights ;-)). And another one, and another one, call us when you pass the mark of 1500 plants... I loved your pink bloomed one with "feathering" or "veining" on the blossoms. A couple of suggestions. get yourself a tabletop tripod - I think it is $9.99 in Best Buy - and check if your camera has a macro option. Some lucky people do not have trembling hands... I do - so I use tripod, the second thing - do not use the camera flash - it bleaches the pic. It is so much better if you choose a time with a good natural light from outside. Second suggestion - I would chuck the plant that is sitting in a double ceramic pot. It has so many spots - it can be all water damage - or it can be virus. Which is not curable and can be contagious. Good Luck and Congratulations! Irina

Although I'm not much of a hot tub person, I love the deck! We are considering decking our entire backyard because 2 of our dogs are allergic to grass. We would then have a small area, grass-free, for a potty area. I really hate to do that because our backyard changes every few years. 3 years ago we took down the pool to put up a greenhouse. Now, I'm missing the pool. Really need to spend a few thousand bucks for tree removal... then I can have both. LOL Flower pics of beautiful!

Thank you Val. Some are better than others but improvement is on the way. It's been very hot for the last few days and we are supposed to get some rain wed nite and Thurs. That will help!! Linda, that's pretty much why she was named that. Frank Smith said some kept repeating " Fabulous" as they went through the garden so, hence, her name. Thanks for posting your photos - your daylilies are beautiful! The one you have labeled Siloam Virginia Henson looks like it might be mislabeled though - the colors look different. Here's some photos of it at Dave's Garden.

I tend to agree that's not Siloam Virginia Henson - not only is the color wrong but so is the shape.

Yes, it looks like Siloam VA Henson is wrong then.
Argh! That makes 4 plants that were mislabeled at my local daylily society sale last August!

Oh well...

abbiejan, you are off to a great start. Enjoy them as they multiply and give you oodles of blossoms in years to come.

I agree that the last photo labeled Joylene (should be Jolyene) Nichole, the one posted by gldno1, looks like the real thing. The last photo posted by abbiejan which is labeled Jolyene Nichol(e) does not look correct. It looks more like Barbara Mitchell, but I think it might be something else. Any ideas?
