The blooming has really taken off here in Northwest Arkansas! I know Ellie is just tapping her foot wondering why I'm so far behind....LOL....Need to do a trade for some of those I traded to you and I lost over that terrible winter Ellie (HINT HINT).... like Mort Morss and Robes for the Queen! I'm sure I've got something you like! Hope you all enjoy these pics.

Wow Nancy, you really have some pretty ones..I like all of them,maybe not the spider.I am not into them,But,since I was having problems reading the names on some of them,,vision problems, since I had took Statin drugs for high colesterol.IT WAS GIVE to me in very high dose,which I shouldn't have had.Anyway, I love the second one,and # 6 and # 9,10, 11 and 12.. they are my favorites out of all of them.They are gorgeous.

I'm 54 and have had quite severe menopausal symptoms since I had a partial hysterectomy (due to a fibroid the size of a grapefruit) at age 48. Since then, there were a few times I thought I was going to die from weird symptoms. This year my chronic headaches have evolved into a number of episodes with severe migraines. For years I've not been able to get a full night's sleep without a mild tranquilizer. The good news is that I have the support of a naturopathic doctor in addition to my family physician. I've been exercising regularly which has helped my arthritis symptoms immensely. My tolerance to caffeine is currently nil, so I opt for herbal tea. I suffer from anxiety and depression and I'm learning to turn my ANTS into CATS (automatic negative thinking into constructive automatic thinking) ...it takes time to re-train the brain. Guided meditation is also helpful - there's lots available on the Net. I do not respond well to any type of stress (coping with daily life is a challenge) but I refuse to take hormone replacement therapy. Instead I opt for herbal supplements such as ashwagandha, rhodiola and 5-HTP. Hot flushes are the least of my issues, but I admit waking up with a full-body sweat in the middle of the night is no fun at all. In addition to all this nonsense, I have food sensitivities and therefore, avoid highly processed foods. Also, I'm on a high protein diet and have vitamin B-12 injections once per week. Evidently, hope exists.

I have been on this forum for 15 years. I have been through four kitchen remodels/builds and through six houses since. I think so many things make me think of GW. I can be talking to my husband about something and I will say "my friend from GW said blah blah blah.... " I he probably thinks I am crazy! I use so many expressions I have learned here and no one knows what the heck I am talking about. Seeing that book gave me a great chuckle! I miss Pal! Oh and I love the frogs!!!

My old kitchen has one circuit for everything but the stove and lighting. You cant run the microwave if the crockpot is on, the dishwasher is on, and the fridge is running. I have to prep with my back to the stove. The cabinets are falling off the walls. The stove is right against a cabinet side. You cant open the oven and dishwasher at the same time. There is one sink. It is only 27"wide. I feel nothing but glee at the prospect of my addition. We paid hundreds of thousands less for this house than the going rate because of this stupid kitchen. Fixing it is a long time coming! I am trying to be careful enough about my choices that in 20'years, I will need to do no more than replace the cabinet fronts and maybe countertop if it's dated. If I get the layout right, that will be the case. :) But I'm choosing cabinets that look a lot like the originals. So hopefully not even that! I am the only one in my circle who keeps cars forever. I don't like them. I got super advanced safety features when I got mine. When I have to get another, I'll do it again. But I've had housekeepers with much nicer cars than mine. :)

Irma, per your request, here are the details: The cabinet carcases are made from 3/4" Birch Plywood and assembled with pocket holes and screws. The drawers are made from 1/2" Baltic Birch Plywood and mounted on heavy duty side mount sides. I used side mount, as I was not interested in giving up the drawer depth required for undermount style. The face frames are made from 3/4" poplar stock, ripped to the custom widths required by my design. The 2 doors are typical 5 piece doors made from poplar and 1/4" thick plywood panels. The drawer fronts are also made from 3/4" thick poplar board stock. The interior of the carcases and drawer boxes were finished with 7 coats of homemade wipe-on polyurethane (50/50 mix). The face frames, doors and drawer front were sanded, given a coat of tinted primer, re-sanded and then 3 coats of the finish color. The finish paint had both Floetrol and Latex Hardener added to the paint at the recommended amounts. The paint is the best grade of Valspar offered by Lowes. The countertop is built on 2 layers of 3/4" inch sanded plywood (glued and screwed together from the underside). The laminate, which is Formica brand "Etchings Carrara Bianco" was attached with contact adhesive and trimmed flush with a router. Finally, the hardware is Stone Mill Hardware "Swedish Iron Leaf Pull" from Overstock.com. Hope that answers all your questions, Lisa

Very nice, and a great variety too!! I like Morrie Otte, geez, why didn't I get that one? Volcano Queen looks good, Tapestry in Time and Screen Pattern, I would pick as my favs. but Isle of Zanzibar looks like it would shout across the garden. all very nice. enjoyed looking at them.

Beautiful blooms, I agree with Morrie Otte, a stunner. I've always loved Enchanting Esmerelda. Peace Be Still and a Bodacious Pattern are favs too.

Great selection. You've got the heat to open those southern beauties really well.
How old is your CERISE MASTERPIECE? I just it this spring so wondering about the increase rate. I bought it more for the pollen.

I like Way Past Cool! I have Morre Otte and it has never given a decent bloom yet, this is it's last year and out it goes if no good flowers. Maybe too cool here in the winter/spring?

You have so many ones I have never seen before. Lovely daylilies. My favorite would be Frank's Fire Opal. I simply love the pink with the gold edge on it. Just beautiful.

Cindy, thank you, I do love a variety! Isle of Zanzibar still mesmerizes me when I see it bloom!

Lisa, I've had Morrie Ott for about six years in my garden. It is one of my all time favorite mini's. Some of those pretty edges you refer to had a hard time opening this morning. Mississippi Memories being one of them.

Sharon, thank you. Enchanting Esmerelda is one of those that need to be in the garden for its performance and beauty. Will always reside here!

Julia, I love my neck of the woods because the dormants do well here as well as MOST of the southern breds. I feel I have the best of both worlds as far as what I can decide to grow here! I've had Cerise Masterpiece three years. It has not increased rapidly for me here. Started as a single fan, now has three fans and the blooms still are not pristeen. Hopefully it will show itself off a lot better by end of this season!

dreamingdaylilies, I moved Way Past Cool to my new deer protected bed last fall, so this picture really doesn't show it in its full beauty. I'm sure it will settle in nicely tho. As far as Morrie Otte goes...I've never had a problem with Morrie here. You might be right as far as temps being too cool.

Rita, one of the reasons I like looking at all your picks! You have so many things I don't that I get nothing but pure enjoyment looking at yours! I have to admit purple being my favorite, I still fall for all those pinks with gold edges!

Wonderful blooms, Nancy! I'm not big on gold edges, but 'Frank's Fire Opal' is a stunning bloom. I also like 'Tapestry In Time' and 'A Bodacious Pattern.'

Alanis, I type the name in photobucket, size and crop. I then upload my photos to photobucket, from there I copy and paste the html code right here in the message box and viola! Pictures appear.

Thank you Debra! After fighting the deer for the past two years I FINALLY got to see Peppermint Frosting and Storm Prince! It is REALLY HARD to have a bloomstalk covered with bud, only to be gone the next morning! Those daggum deer ate my blooms off RUCKUS and BASS GIBSON this year before the fence was finished. I'm hoping one of the other fans will put up a stalk!

Ellie...I don't know how you all can get your photos and posts up so early in the evening, course I've been outside every nite working on deer fences and clearing land for more garden space. I'll get more up soon.

Vickie....LOL....I have my flowers uploaded to Photobucket in folders labeled A, B, etc. I just follow my list of what I had uploaded to photobucket, no xtra work involved for me...LOL...Posies in the park is one of my favorite mini's!

Nancy, You have really got some beauties! Thee are so many I like, but I am always intrigued by Peppermint Frosting, and all of the Peppermints.

I rarely lose a daylily, but I have bought Johnny Cash and lost it twice. They were nice plants, not tiny fans or anything. I don't know that I'll attempt it again, so I was glad to see the one you posted.

How did I miss this group yesterday, some real beauties here! Several I'm not familiar with too. Hard to pick from these beauties. I love the pattern on Tapestry in Time. Love the two-tones & edges on Way Past Cool. Morrie Otte is just gorgeous.
