LOL I haven't done that one. But I practically always will turn on a light switch when the power is off. Once I was at my mothers and her uncle and aunt were coming. We had a power outage, he had health problems, and I wanted the house to be nice and warm for them. So....I lined the back of the fireplace with aluminum foil to reflect the heat. It took me quite a while to do the job, got done and then took us a while to find the fan (to blow the heat out into the room) and then went to plug the fan in when it hit.....DUH....there IS no power. We about laughed ourselves silly. I probably spent 30 minutes on that project. LOL

gardengirl, From what I understand hair color can be affected/change because of some thyroid/hormone problems. It can also be affected by some medicines and even vitamins. Usually premature greying is the problem; but if his "problem" was fixed, it may resort back to the old color. Wikepdia says "Grey hair may temporarily darken after inflammatory processes,..." (not sure what that means, but it sounds like an autoimmune problem to me). From your further description it does sound like he's probably lying to you, though. I dated a guy for a while who would lie, sometimes for no real reason. He was perfect in most ways: gorgeous, smart, successful, etc..but he would lie as a hobby. I just couldn't trust him. I thought, you know, he'll probably never cheat on me, but I will always think he may be and I just can't live everyday like that. I prefer being married to my husband who I can totally trust and never question even if he comes home late smelling like perfume. I would probably just assume he was accidentally sprayed at the mall. I don't know why people lie, especially when there is no good reason. So what if he wants to try some Grecian Formula. Maybe it's a control thing or he just doesn't want anyone to know him fully. I'm not really sure from your post, though, do you think his main problem is compulsive lying for no real reason, or do you really think he is having an affair (and just lying to cover it up)? Those are two distinct problems that would probably be handled differently. Personally, I would still like to see what his reaction is if you tell him his hair color may be medical condition and that he should talk to a doctor. I know if I woke up one morning with a different color like that, I'd at least have a call in to my Dr.'s office. Wouldn't you? Call him on it and see what his reaction is.

A true story from the police blotter. A fella had been drinking and drove to Wal Mart to load up on more munchies for TV watching. As he exited the store, he could not find his car and concluded it had been stolen. He flips open his cell phone and reports his car as stolen. Just as the police are pulling into the aprking lot, he remembers: I drove my OTHER car, and there it is! He starts to explain to the police his error and heads toward his car to make a hasty exit. But, not so fast. The cop got a whiff of his breath and noticed his unstable condition. A quick sobriety test was made and of course, our subject failed it miserable. Now, the police has reason enough to demand a search of his car. They find a bong pipe and drugs. The jig is up! The police reason that he drove drunk to the store and issued a DUI ticket, and now they are hauling him off to jail on a drug charge. What a bad day. This driver turned himself in. It was he who made the phone call in the first place. There must have been some giggling when this report was written up.

Marcolo, hahaha! "contractor". "neck up"! As a medical professional, I thoroughly appreciate that one! Mine, whom I actually think is pretty good, called and asked me to bring him the cabinet layout the other day, so they could start the install. Sure, I have nothing better to do, I finished my morning surgery, run to print it out, and deliver it up there. Never mind that I'd emailed it to all of them a month ago! At this point, I will do whatever it takes to get it done in time. We're already 2 months behind.
