I've never seen a very large one - bigger than a few feet. I think Andrew started out as one of those Angel Plants and they're all supposed to be dwarfs.

Mine is in the ground 2 years and it's still under 15".

I believe your Andrew came from me. At least I know I gave you one at one of your swaps, but I just didn't know how big it would get. Now there is one similar they are showing at the sales with yellow on the leaves they are calling Andrew.I picked one up with a claw shaped leaf, different from the others. ;o) I know you said they are unstable.

You're probably correct as I don't recall buying one. I think there's a large one at David's nursery. By large, I meean around 3' tall.

Very different from the first one I got with white and green leaves. And I got one that the leaf shape is a claw. Funny, plants, just like brothers and sisters in a family not looking a like.

Hey Kat, I haven't seen the yellow one. I will have to look for that one. There is another name for Croton Andrew but I can't remember it. I think it is C. eburnum or something like that.

trini - all Crotons are Codiaeum variegatum. Andrew is a variety and Eburnum is a variety. Somewhat similiar in that the yellow form of Eburnum looks like Andrew when Andrew gets larger. It's possible that Andrew was a sport off Eburnum as Eburnum is one of the very old varieties.

I think I should have been clearer too, it is yellow and green leaves I have seen on the one they call Andrew now. Not the white and green I got before. And one had misformed leaves like a lobster claw, we'll see if the leaves remain like that.
